The story of DermaLux Medical Aesthetics is deeply personal. It began with Christie, the owner, a certified medical aesthetician and cosmetic nurse, who intimately understands the emotional and physical struggles of persistent acne. After years of battling her own skin and facing limited guidance on treatments and scarring solutions, she was inspired to create a better way. This personal frustration fuelled her passion to enter aesthetics and ultimately a nurse, driven by a desire to offer holistic, clear, and supportive care to others.
THE JOURNEY SO FAR
The story of DermaLux is one of passion and progress. We started with humble beginnings in 2016, operating from a single treatment room in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Our client-focused approach fuelled our growth, leading us to proudly open our Sherwood Park location in 2022. After beginning in a small salon, we quickly grew into our own beautiful, custom-built clinic with three treatment rooms. Our most recent milestone came in July 2024 with a major expansion, which doubled our space and allowed us to offer the latest advanced treatments, from energy-based devices to a wider range of injectables. Our journey is a direct reflection of the trust our clients place in us, who continue to fuel our passion for bringing you the best in medical aesthetics.
