· Wearing makeup: You want to keep the micro-channels in your skin clean and free from potential irritants or bacteria.

· Direct sun exposure: Your skin will be particularly vulnerable to UV rays, so it's best to stay indoors or in the shade.

However, by Day 3, most individuals can comfortably resume their regular activities, including working out and wearing makeup. Because of this quick recovery, many people strategically schedule their microneedling session for a Friday or Saturday. This allows them to rest and recover over the weekend, so they can return to work on Monday with their skin looking refreshed, often with no one being the wiser about their recent treatment.

Here's what you can typically expect after your microneedling session:

Day 1 (Immediately After Treatment):

Your face will likely be quite pink. As the numbing wears off, your skin might feel tight and a little warm. The sensation is often described as feeling like a very mild sunburn, but it is not uncomfortable, and there will be no pain.

Day 1 (End of Treatment Day):

By the end of the day of your treatment, most of the redness or pinkness should subside. Your skin might feel a little tight and dry and could have a slight texture to it. Again, there will be no discomfort.

Day 2 (The Next Day):

On the day after your microneedling treatment, your skin might still feel a little tight and dry. You may notice some mild texture, and it might still have a slight pinkness. You may also see a few tiny pink or light purple dots which is normal. Despite this, your skin will likely start to look radiant. Continue to use the skincare ingredients in your post-treatment kit to help rehydrate and soothe your face.

Day 3:

By the third day after your microneedling treatment, most, if not all, pinkness should be gone, and you will be able to wear makeup again. Your skin might still feel a little dry, so continue applying the serums and moisturizer from your skincare kit as needed. If any residual pinkness remains, it should be easily covered with makeup. We recommend using mineral makeup to help prevent pore clogging.

Days 4 to 7:

By day four, and certainly by day seven, your skin will typically be completely healed. Any texture will be gone, and no redness should remain. Even for those with more sensitive skin types, your skin will look radiant and gorgeous. At this point, you can usually resume your regular skincare routine. Please remember to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher for the 14 days following your treatment. It is also recommended to wait 10 days post-treatment before exfoliating.

No, a strong topical numbing cream will be applied to minimize discomfort, some find there is no pain or discomfort at all during the treatment.

Post treatment the treated area may feel a little warm and tight but will subside by the end of the night however, there will be no pain or discomfort.
