PRP Treatments
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a substance that is derived from your own blood and contains a high concentration of platelets. Platelets are known for their role in clotting blood, but they also contain growth factors that can help stimulate cell turnover and collagen production.
In cosmetic treatments, PRP is often used in conjunction with microneedling or injection procedures to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. The growth factors in PRP can help promote skin regeneration, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin elasticity.

What is Microneedling?Microneedling is also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy. Microneedling uses special needles to create thousands of micro lesions in the skin. These micro lesions allow topical products to penetrate easier and this controlled damage allows the wound to heal slowly and correctly, rather than in emergency mode. The damaged skin is replaced with new skin that has improved structure and elasticity.
-
Microneedling vs. IPL / Laser Skin RejuvenationMicroneedling is safe, there is no risk of burning clients, there are very little side effects from microneedling and it provides superior results. Microneedling, however, does not treat vascular lesions. Microneedling does not create heat in the skin like traditional laser skin rejuvenation.
-
